Instructions

  • Get Your LTIP Award Preference email and use it to plug in:
    – Your Award Amount
    – Corporate Cost of Non-Qualified Stock Option (grant date estimate)
    – Restricted Stock Unit Cost (grant date estimate)
  • Plug in your own estimate for P&G stock price and dividend growth rate. The calculator uses one number for both growth rates. For Example, 5.5 will calculate your results based a 5.5% growth rate for both the stock and for the dividend.
  • Review the results chart for a detailed hypothetical year-by-year choice comparison of 100% Restricted Stock Units (RSU) vs. 100% Non-Qualified Stock Options (NSO).
  • For mixed choice comparisons (for example RSU 75% & NSO 25%), adjust your award amount to 75% of total and review only the RSU portion of the chart. Next, adjust your award amount to 25% of total and review only the NSO portion of the chart. Print or record results of each and compare offline.
