Andrew Schmitt

Managing Member, Adviser

Andy, originally from Fairport, New York, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from University of Dayton.

Post graduation he worked with the Chief Economist at a leading yellow pages company and in the finance department at a regional computer networking company.

In 1992 he and his family moved to Cincinnati to join a large national broker-dealer and start his career in personal finance. After fifteen years at the national firm, and seeking a more personal culture for his clients, Andy moved to a regional broker-dealer to continue for another eight years before founding Schmitt Wealth Advisers, LLC.

Over the past 28 years, Andy has specialized in financial planning and portfolio management (wealth management) for individuals and families. His focus on serving individuals and families is a key inspiration for establishing a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) for current and future clients (see link to; The Benefits of Working with a Registered Investment Advisor).

Andy and his wife and their children live in Cincinnati. In his spare time he enjoys golf, tennis, music, and travel.
